First and foremost- I love kids!
In July 2016 I will be 19 years old. I'm friendly, respectful and hardworking to name a few! I have spent lots of time babysitting over the past 4 years with various families. These babysitting jobs have given me vital experience, like changing a diaper, discipline, devising fun games and much more.
My most recent work was a Kumon Maths and English tutor with preschool to grade 6 children. I have learnt how children communicate their difficultly and success and I understand how children learn.
Through Girl Guides, I have earned my Queen's Guide Award, this is the highest award a junior member of Girl Guides can achieve. To complete this award I spent time as a leader with 5-7 year old girls. I ran games and organised activities which often involved talking in front of a large group of people.
I have also spent time as a leader in my Church youth group with boys and girls aged 5-10 years old. Again I organised games and spent valuable time just talking to children.
