In English:
Dear family,
I would love for you to consider my application for the au pair of your children.
I am a caring and reliable University of Melbourne student with a keen sense of fun and a passion for playing, reading, dancing and communicating with children. I will be studying at the University of Geneva for at least 6 months to a year. I am studying health so I am very interested in children's health and well-being and ensuring optimal social and emotional development.
I have 7 years of working experience working in a variety of settings from my local vet, restaurant, secretary job and a self-employed small dog walking business equipping me with a professional maturity, communication skills and a good sense of humour to handle any adversity or challenging situation. I have part-time babysitting experience for 2 years and causal babysitting experience for longer so I have the nurturing skills, a genuine love for kids and the patience and sensitivity to guide and care for your young child. I'm passionate on the importance of nurturing young children's sense of fun and play: through exploration, reading to them, dancing, age-appropriate games and being in nature with short local walks. I look forward to hearing from you and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask! :) Thank you. P.s I also have my full drivers license and a dual British/Australian citizenship.
Cheers, Emily
